New Training Scheme

We are delighted to announce that we have launched a new training scheme, which aims to address the ongoing need for qualified healthcare staff in Jersey.  

We run these training schemes regularly, and we are looking for candidates who are excited to learn a new profession, and have full driving licences with their own transport. 

Hours are negotiable although but you should be prepared to work some weekends and evenings. 

If you have ever considered becoming a carer, this is a unique opportunity for you to gain free, valuable training and to do vital work to protect our island. 

Training includes:

• Safe Handling

• Safe Guarding

• First Aid

• Basic Life Support

• Infection Control

• Food Hygiene

• Dementia Awareness

• Health & Safety

• Fire Awareness

• Medication

• COVID-19 Specific Training 

The training is provided partially online and also in-house with appropriate social distancing and PPE. 

Successful applicants will receive a generous package including, competitive salary, fuel allowance, parking, holiday and health benefits when they have completed their training.
